Wow, what a great film. I just saw this last night at the Portland premier and absolutely loved it. It’s a movie for anyone, even any non-skier will be immediately drawn into this coming of age story. Though Kye’s skiing is a joy to watch, for me, Anselme Baud and Glen Plake in their rolls of Father (or Uncle) figures was really touching and great to see captured on film. We’ll be seeing it again in Eugene this weekend, great work!

I went to the premier last night in Salt Lake City. Wow, Bill really nice movie. Kye is surrounded by people that are legendary. Your movie captures the essence of these big mountain pioneers sharing their knowledge and spirit from one generation to the next. These are all clearly people who care deeply about a sport, have made sacrifices and believe in taking risks as a meaninful experience in life. The depth of the story really hooked me. In your post showing conversation I really enjoyed finding out what Kye was doing now and am super impressed with him. Way to go Bill.

Are you planning on adding any shows in Aspen or the Roaring Fork Valley? The movie looks amazing and I’m bummed that you aren’t coming to the Valley. Think about coming to the Wheeler or the Belly Up. Aspen will support you guys.
